Not all vinyl signs are the same. The film grade, ink system, and laminate you choose determines whether your sign looks sharp for 3 years or 10 — and whether it peels, fades, or stays perfect through Australian sun and rain.

ESSENTIAL — BUDGET FULL-LIT LETTERS

Who it is for:

Entry-level businesses, pop-up retail, temporary promotions, short-term campaigns.

The sign uses standard cast vinyl with solvent ink and no laminate. It goes on clean, looks great on day one, and does its job. Colours are CMYK matched. The outdoor lifespan is typically 3 to 4 years before fade starts, depending on sun, heat, and coastal humidity.

ELITE — 360° FULL-LIT ARCHITECTURAL LETTERS

Who it is for:

Flagship stores, franchise rollouts, high-end retail, anywhere brand consistency is non-negotiable.

Elite uses premium cast vinyl with UV-cured ink, the same technology used in automotive and architectural graphics. A UV-blocking matte laminate sits on top, cutting UV degradation dramatically. Colours are spectrophotometer-verified to exact Pantone values.

Full-lit vs frontlit channel letters?+

Frontlit: only the face lights up, giving a clean, controlled glow.
Full-lit: entire letter (face + sides) illuminates for maximum brightness and visibility.

What is 360° glow?+

Light from every surface — front, edges, and back. Only at 40mm Elite depth with LED on all sides including rear.

Why does acrylic thickness matter?+

5mm extruded: hotspots visible. 5mm cast: even diffusion. 8mm cast: zero hotspot, solid luminous appearance.

Steel vs aluminium returns?+

Steel: heavier, painted. Aluminium: lighter, precise, powder coat or brushed anodised finish.

Why does UV protection matter?+

UV degrades acrylic — yellowing, hazing, fade. Essential: none. Premium: face coat. Elite: lacquer ALL surfaces.

What depth should I choose?+

For shopfront windows that get direct sun, we recommend at minimum our Premium tier — long-term cast vinyl with UV laminate. If the shopfront faces north or west and gets intense afternoon sun (common in Perth, Brisbane, and Adelaide), the Elite tier with UV-blocking matte laminate will significantly extend the sign's life and colour accuracy.

Do you ship signs Australia-wide?+

Yes. All signs are custom made and shipped tracked to any address in Australia — Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and regional areas. Signs are packed flat with protective backing to prevent damage during transit.

Can they go outdoors?+

Premium and Elite yes — UV-protected acrylic + CE drivers. Elite with UV lacquer all surfaces = best outdoor longevity.
